Workshop on the National Overseas Scholarship Scheme

The National Overseas Scholarship Scheme provides financial assistance to low-income students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Labourers and Traditional Artisans categories for pursuing Masters and PhD courses abroad. Under the scheme, the following financial assistance is provided: tuition fees, maintenance allowance, contingency fund, visa fees, equipment allowance, medical insurance premium and air passage by economy class.

On Sunday, 12 March 2023, Project EduAccess organised a Workshop on the National Overseas Scholarship Scheme to familiarise potential applicants with the application process. The workshop was led by Purnachandra Naik, who received the scholarship in 2017-18 to pursue a PhD in English, Linguistics and Philosophy from Nottingham Trent University. On this page, you will find resources from this workshop.
