The Jharkhand Overseas Scholarship Scheme also known as the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Overseas Scholarship provides an opportunity to Jharkhand residents (domiciles) belonging to SC, ST, Minority, and Other Backward communities to pursue Masters’ and MPhil programmes at participating universities in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It grants up to a maximum of 25 scholarships. The last date to apply is 15 May 2023.

 

On Saturday, 8 April 2023, Project EduAccess organised a Workshop on the Jharkhand Overseas Scholarship Scheme to familiarise potential applicants with the application process. The workshop was led by Akanksha Mary, who received the scholarship in 2021-22 to pursue the MSc in Climate Change Science and Management at Loughborough University.
